Rather than interchangeable film path components, the Ditmar features two separate side-by-side film paths, each contain feed & take-up sprockets, film gates, and reel spindles for the applicable gauge of film.

The projection lamp and optical system slide from side to side to align with the active film path.

The lens mount could be pulled forward and swiveled to whichever film gate is in use.
