Pathé 9.5mm Accessories

Pathé close-up attachment.

This device fitted several of the early Pathé 9.5mm cameras, enabling 35mm slides to be filmed.

The screw-clamp, which incorporates a close-up lens, attaches to the camera’s lens.

The Pathé 9.5mm film notching tool.  The left end of the tool is used to add a notch to the side of the film. (In the 1920s, Pathé 9.5mm projectors and films used the ‘notched title’ system, the notch in the side of the film caused the projector to pause on a single frame of film as an economy measure). The right end of the tool is used to cut away the perforations at the end of the film, causing it to stop before it reached the actual end of the film.
